Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions as they are for our mutual benefit and
will avoid misunderstandings arising.
- I am Anton Roelands (The Instructor) and I am a self-employed driving
instructor.
- The contract for tuition is between me, The Instructor and you, The
Pupil.
- It is the responsibility of The Pupil to confirm they have a valid
driving license before any driving lesson.
- Lesson times, location and duration shall be subject to agreement
between The Instructor and The Pupil
- Lesson bond. A prepaid bond equivalent to 1 hour lesson fee
(normally £20)is required before commencing a course. In the event of a
lesson being cancelled without adequate prior notice this lesson bond will
be forfeited. The lesson bond will be redeemed at the pre-test lesson 1 hour
session if not used prior to this happening.
- Cancellations are normally subject to 48 hours notice by both parties.
- In the event that The Instructor arrives at the agreed site for
the commencement of the lesson and The Pupil does not make themselves
available, The Instructor will attempt to contact The Pupil by phone, door
knocking or other methods and if there is no response after 15 minutes the
lesson will be in forfeiture.
- Payment for lessons should be made in advance by credit/debit card or
cheque made payable to The Instructor. Alternatively payment may be made by
cheque or cash prior to the commencement of the lesson
- The lesson will be cancelled and the lesson bond forfeited if The
Instructor believes The Pupil is unfit to drive for whatever reason.
- The Instructor has insurance for the The Pupil to drive the car when
accompanied by the Instructor or a Driving Standards Agency Examiner.
- The car is a no smoking zone at all times and all lessons will be
conducted in a cordial and amicable nature to all road users or the lesson
may be terminated.
