Basic courses are designed to take you from complete beginner to test standard ready by following a syllabus that covers all the test driving requirements. The Driving Standards Agency ( the people who set the driving test) estimates that a beginner starting from scratch will require approximately 40 / 50 hours professional tuition and at least 20 hours private practice (if possible). After an initial 2 hour assessment a course can be tailored to meet your personal requirements with dates and times arranged to best suit your own schedule.
